All SSIMED training classes are taught by experienced trainers. In addition to possessing a thorough knowledge of our systems, our trainers are intimately familiar with today's healthcare environment. Our courses are designed to give you the hands on experience and practical application knowledge to make the most of your SSIMED practice management system.

We believe in a "learn by doing" approach. Our courses utilize real-world examples and scenarios that are encountered daily in all medical practices. Our approach teaches the implication of daily decision making in a risk-free environment, where people are comfortable to make and learn from their mistakes. By allowing people to make the mistakes during training, it significantly decreases time to competency. The retention rate of a learn by doing approach is 75% as opposed to a 5% retention rate from lectures and 30% retention rate from demonstrations alone.

Our Training Settings.

• SSIMED Learning Center - The majority of our training takes place at the SSIMED Learning Center located at our Day Hill Road office in Windsor, CT. At the Learning Center, each student is provided with his or her own computer workstation. A projection system allows students to view exactly what the trainer is doing. Class sizes are limited to ensure that each student is provided with individual attention and a comfortable learning environment.
  
  
• Distance Learning - SSIMED offers short, focused trainings via the Internet. Each distance learning session is tailored to fit your practice's specific needs. Prior to your Distance Learning session, a SSIMED trainer will contact you to discuss what you'd like to focus on during the session and asks you for a list of outstanding questions that you may have. Based on this needs assessment, a curriculum and agenda is created to ensure you get the most out of your session.
  
  
• On-Site Customized Training - All SSIMED training courses can be customized to meet your practice's unique needs. Training can be scheduled at your facility or at other designated sites. Our goal is to provide our clients with training that truly makes a difference.

SSIMED Certification.
Upon the successful completion of training at our Learning Center, you will receive our stamp of approval as a SSIMED Certified Professional. SSIMED Certified Professionals have completed our standardized course and passed our certification exam to ensure that they are able to put the benefits of their SSIMED system to work for their practice.
