SSIMED SELECTS MEDFUSION TO OFFER PHYSICIAN PRACTICES PATIENT PORTAL SOLUTIONS

Windsor, CT – June 1, 2009 – SSIMED, LLC is pleased to announce that it has selected Medfusion, the nation’s leader in self-service patient portals to provide patient portal solutions to its physician practice clientele.

Physician practices will be able to have their patients pre-register, request appointments, renew prescriptions and more using Medfusion’s secure, online HIPAA-compliant patient portal. Patient data will populate SSIMED’s practice management system (PMS) with patient demographics and other relevant patient information entered into the portal by patients.
